Sandra Turner was born March 31, 1952, in Flint, Michigan to parents Sammy and Juanita Terrell. She was a graduate of Northern High School, class of 1970. Sandra had a nurturing spirit which could be seen through her career as a caregiver. She was like a second mother to many throughout her life. In her later years she decided to settle in Arlington, Texas to be close to her remaining siblings. She was an avid reader, who loved her plants, going to the casino, and playing spades with family.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Lichele Terrell of Arlington, TX; 3 sons, Kamathe Terrell of Flint, MI; Erik Terrell of Lewisville, TX; and Sam Terrell of Hampton, GA; 5 grandsons, Daquis Terrell of Macon, GA; Aaron Terrell of Flint, MI; Antonio (Amanda) Chavis of Chamblee, GA; Darius (Cherith) Chavis and Juan Chavis of Palmetto, GA; 2 granddaughters, Erika Terrell of Palmetto, GA; and Ketarious Handley of Lewisville, TX; 4 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Melody, Aston, and Lyla; brother, Maurice Terrell of Arlington, TX; sister Kathleen McCord of Arlington, TX; stepmother Annie Terrell of Flint, MI; 2 stepbrothers, Ray (Marilyn) Bryson, and Lenny Thornton of Flint, MI; 2 stepsisters, Yolanda Hall of Flint, MI; and Althea (Timothy) Steward of Belleville, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Turner; parents Sammy and Juanita Terrell; sister, Ellen Sargent; nephews, Milton Arder and Antjuan Johnson Sr.
