She was a servant to the the Lord, and enjoyed serving those around her. She loved cooking for everyone and one of her greatest joys was being surrounded by family. She attended Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of T.F. Garrison, as very active member. She was the President of the Pastor-Aid Program, Vice President of the choir, and served in the mission program. Helen was Mama and Big Mama to every person she encountered. She had an open house if you needed a place to stay, an ear if you had a funny story or needed someone to hear you vent, she was wisdom if you sought advice. She was unconditional love, nonjudgmental, forgiving, and a prayer warrior for you. Helen will be missed by many.
