After a life richly blessed with faith, love, and family, Glenda Faye (Jackson) Maddox peacefully entered eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on July 9, 2026, at the age of 59. Born in Holly Grove, AR on November 25, 1966, Glenda's life was a beautiful reflection of compassion, grace, and unconditional love. Her devotion to her family was the heartbeat of her life and will remain her enduring legacy.

Glenda loved God and her family more than anything in this world. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived each day seeking to honor the Lord through her words, actions, and service to others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose love knew no bounds.

Those who knew Glenda will remember her sweet spirit, warm heart, and beautiful smile that could light up any room. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Anyone who met her quickly fell in love with her kindness, gentle nature, and genuine care for others. The Spirit of God shined brightly through her life, and she never missed an opportunity to share how good God had been to her. She loved reading God's Word, talking about His goodness, and encouraging others in their faith.

Glenda dedicated herself to caring for her family and ensuring that those she loved were always supported and encouraged. Family time was her greatest joy. She spent the last 20 years of her professional career serving the clients of Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Glenda's love story began when she met the love of her life, Alvin Maddox, while they were both working at Sam's Club. What started as a chance encounter soon blossomed into a lifelong romance, culminating in a beautiful marriage that spanned 34 devoted years. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, strengthened by unwavering commitment, and filled with unconditional love, laughter, and cherished memories. Through every season of life, they stood hand in hand, each other's greatest blessing and steadfast source of strength.

Glenda's greatest pride and joy were her children, Dramelle, Aaron, and Ariel. She treasured every moment spent with them and delighted in watching them grow into remarkable individuals. Nothing brought a brighter smile to her face than her precious grandson, Kamdyon, whose love filled her heart and whose presence brought her immeasurable happiness.

Glenda was welcomed into eternal glory by those who preceded her in death: her beloved father, Cluff Jackson; her brother, Harold Jackson; and her sister, Carolyn Sturghill.

She leaves to forever cherish her beautiful life and precious memories her devoted husband of 34 years, Alvin Maddox; her loving children, Dramelle Jackson, Aaron (Jordan) Maddox, and Ariel Maddox; and the light of her heart, her cherished grandson, Kamdyn Jackson. She is also survived by her beloved mother, Theresa Jackson; her devoted sisters, Delores Thrower, Ruby (George) Cunningham, Joyce (Ron) Robinson, Joan (Cedrick) Swift, and Beverly (James) Phillips; along with a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love, grace, and gentle spirit.

Although Glenda's earthly journey has come to an end, the love she so freely gave, the faith she so faithfully lived, and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. While our hearts grieve the loss of her physical presence, we rejoice in the assurance that she is now completely healed, made whole, and forever rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, whom she loved with all her heart. We find peace in knowing that she has received her eternal reward and has heard the words,

"Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord."
