Betty Jean Hogan

Betty Jean Hogan was born on March 10, 1971, in Henderson, Texas, to Jo Ethel Hogan and Ennis Mallard. She was raised with love and grew into a woman whose kindness, strength, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Betty departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is lovingly survived by her children, Laquella Hogan and Lashun Hogan,(Equaila Hogan, Ennis Hogan Jr., Emory Hogan, Don Mark Hogan Jr., Earnest Henderson, Robert Ramey Jr and Michael Ramey)

Betty was a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren and was blessed with one great-granddaughter, K'Lanii Thomas, who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ethel Hogan; her father, Ennis Mallard; her father, Johnny Mack Hogan; and her brother, Ennis Hogan.

Betty also leaves behind her loving sisters, Joann Burroughs and Amy Moore, and her brothers, Don Hogan, Robert Ramey, Roy Hogan, Eric Hogan, and Ennis Mallard Jr. She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Shay, Tonda, Reese, and Joanna.

Betty was blessed with lifelong friendships and leaves behind her dear friends Mary Anderson, Veronica Smith, Theresa Booker, and Gayla Wilson, who loved her like family.

Betty was truly a beautiful soul who loved her family and friends with all her heart. She believed in doing what was right and lived her life guided by her faith and the love of God. She was known as the life of every party and loved music that made everyone get up and dance. If there was a family gathering or celebration, you could always count on Betty to be there, bringing laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and the love she shared with her nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends was limitless. Betty's warm smile, generous heart, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest peacefully, Betty Jean. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
