Alphonso Lewis Mathis

Alphonso Lewis Mathis was born in Calvert, Texas to the parents of Steve Mathis Sr and Luella Robertson. Alphonso received his education in the Dallas Independent School District. He enlisted in the United States Army and served 2 years after being honorable discharged. Alphonso rededicated his life to Christ at the Resurrection Body of Christ lead by Bishop Eli Jacob. Alphonso started his career in Auto Recovery at Goss on Ross Dealership. He continued to work for several dealership and auto finance companies for over 40 years. He leaves to cherish his memories: The whole Mathis/ Robertson family - Isreal Henry, Christopher Ingram, Shequila King, Shelia Ingram, grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousin and special friend and caregiver Novie Spain. Rest in Peace Uncle Al, your infectious laugh, your ready wit, and your cheery personality will forever be missed.
