Alonzo Lee Contreras

Alonzo L. Contreras of Dallas, Texas, was born on March 26, 1987, to Miguel Rodriquez and Guadalupe Contreras. After leaving Mesquite High School, Alonzo went on to earn his GED.

Alonzo was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work in the construction field. He was a man of many talents with a big personality and an outgoing spirit. He had a way of lighting up every room he entered and was sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. Among his favorite hobbies were drawing and tattoos, where he was able to express his creativity and unique personality.

Alonzo came from a large family filled with love, laughter, and joy. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Guadalupe Contreras; his father, Miguel Rodriquez; his stepfather, Severo Leija; and his siblings, Valentine Contreras, Miguel Rodriquez Jr., and Jose Rodriquez. He is also lovingly remembered by his children, Ruben Joel Contreras and Annaliza Lena Contreras.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Fidencio D. Contreras and Becky Tijerna.

Alonzo’s strong work ethic, vibrant spirit, loving heart, and unforgettable personality will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, the memories, laughter, and love he shared with his family and friends will live on forever.

Rest in peace, Alonzo. You will be deeply loved, remembered, and missed.
